college life

So, I started college. And it's in Florida...so far from home! The first day was stressful and busy because of the unpacking and organizing (my room still isn't fully organized!) we had some meetings and then an activity at a trampoline place. Not a great place to meet people and make friends more of a place to show of your back flip skills, which I have none of. Needless to say didn't meet many people there. After it was over Shelby, Kristin (friends from high school) and I got into Shelby's car and start driving. Then we realize she has a flat tire. Thankfully someone we knew hadn't left yet and a few guys changed the tire and then Shelby didn't know how to drive on FL roads and ended up basically parking in the middle of the street. So great first night! We have made a few shopping trips and food runs, drove on the beach at night with the top down, went to Applebee's with people we hadn't met before (awkward), but our favorite thing to do so far is go up to the girls lounge area and watch Family Feud while eating popcorn...yeah we really are that lame. Oh also it rains every afternoon and not just rain it's pretty much a monsoon...I'm waiting for my rainboots to come in the mail as I type this.
