Decisions

Although I really enjoyed attending Clearwater Christian College, one semester was enough.

Enough time for me to make some wonderful friends and memories. And enough time to make me realize how much I love my home.

It was a hard decision between returning to Clearwater or staying home and attending community college. I hadn't even thought about staying home this upcoming semester until I came home for Thanksgiving break. Something just didn't feel right about being away. I thought through all the pros and cons countless times before making the final decision. And even after it I had doubts about whether or not I made the right choice.

But I know I have. Because besides the fact that I am a total Michigan girl (didn't care for Florida) and that it felt like I was at camp for four months (camp is fun for two weeks) I missed being involved in my church. I missed being with my family. And I really want the opportunity to attend secular college to make friendships and also challenge my faith.

Decisions can be stressful and this one certainly was. But I was reminded by my father that either choice I make can be the "right" choice because God's will for me is to serve and glorify Him and He can use me wherever I am.

I don't regret going for one minute but, it's good to be back.
